Easter in Maidenhead
The Easter Holidays are nearly with us, so why not spend Easter in Maidenhead, at the Thames Hotel.
Maybe you are coming down to take part in the “Maidenhead Easter 10″. The very first Maidenhead Easter Ten took place in 1953 and had 98 finishers. 60 years later it is celebrating the diamond jubilee of probably the oldest road race in the country. The 60th Maidenhead Easter Ten mile road race will be held Good Friday March 29th 2013 and is held on a fast, flat well-marshalled 10-mile circuit which provides an ideal test of stamina and pace over this distance. If you are taking part, or just watching then why not make a longer break of it and unwind at The River Bar at The Thames Hotel. Stay overnight in one of our reasonably priced rooms.
There are lots of activities over Easter in Maidenhead and Berkshire, with plenty to do and see. How about the new “LEGO® Legends of Chima” – this year’s exciting new 4D Movie at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. LEGOLAND® is only a thirty minute drive from The Thames Hotel. Why not take advantage of our Family Suites for a short break?
At nearby Grenfell Park there is an Easter Family Funday brought to you by Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Saturday 30 March 11am – 3pm. This is a FREE event to celebrate the Easter weekend. Aimed at young families (0-12years old) it’s a chance to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh air. There will be storytelling, bouncy castles, Hart Beeps sessions, Sima’s Action Kids, Easter Egg Treasure Hunt, Fairground Rides, Facepainting and much much more. More Details can be found Here
After the Funday, treat yourself to our Special Two Course Easter Menu at the Hotel’s exclusive Trevi Italian Restaurant. Only £13.50 and this year it includes a Carvery! You can download the Easter Menu Here, or you can click here to book your table on-line at The Trevi.
